I've been to several Jersey Mike's and their sandwiches are generally above average. This was our first visit to the Monument location and it was a disappointment. We ordered the Portabella Cheese Steak and were initially delighted at the piping hot, juicy and delicious steak. Mushrooms were scarce but tasty and the roll held up to the fixin's. I just had a very rude and aggressive experience at this location. I went to order an Italian. The staff acted cold about me being there. The cashier rang me up before I told them how I wanted my sandwich. Usually, I come in and there is a line, so I order my sandwich, they clarify how I want it, and then I pay. They appeared to be slow, which is unusual for their lunchtime, and rang me up before I told them how I wanted it. I asked for extra bacon. They said that was extra. I ordered two sandwiches and I asked for no tomato and they just ignored that, I asked for mikes way on my other sandwich and they just ignored that as well, if I could do 0 stars I would because they messed up both sandwiches
This is a great sandwich shop. I had gone to a Jersey Mike's in Texas and had not been impressed. Every time I order from here, they nail it. Great Job!
