My family and I arrived in Newark after a long day of travel absolutely starving given the weather related delays experienced by the airlines. We saw Jersey Mike’s was open until 10 and we got to their kiosk at 945 where we were dismissed by the manager with a slash to his throat gesture as to say he would not serve us. I understand it’s been a long day for the employees at Jersey Mikes but to be dismissed while the area was open and there was still a direct line to the cashier was extremely disappointing.
Six people were working, no sandwiches were being made. One person kept taking everyone’s orders in line and then told us to pay and move down past the cash register to wait, which I thought was odd because isn’t the point to pick out the toppings you want before you check out? I waited with three other people while the woman behind the counter continued taking new orders and another woman came out and started taking orders from people in the rest of the line, but none of the employees behind the counter were actually making... read more
Early in the morning and the service was still above and beyond, as expected. As a former JM employee, they followed all protocols with a smile on their face. I can’t thank them enough for fueling my trip across country !
The person little girl that prepares the sandwiches is very rude should not let her talk she has no manners very impolite
