Funny as I look at the reviews my husband just told me of a very similar experience he had here. His wait time was 20 minutes for a sub, and he told me there were 3 people in the shop going very slow. He also said there was one guy who worked there was conversing with a customer in front of him: customer-"do you guys still make this sub...." employee-"we haven't had that sub here in 8 years (very rudely). I really like Jersey Mike's and was warned to place my order early to avoid lines. I placed an order online via Door Dash at 10:43AM for pickup between 11:40 -11:50 window. Payment was issued and I received confirmation email and text. I arrived at 11:45 to pick up and was told my order would not be ready until 12:28 (approx. 1 hour after it was recieved). Ordered online and watched people that ordered in store get their food before I did. I got my order 15 mins after the promised time. I was late returning to work after lunch. Very disappointed. Food was ok but the wait was horrible.
There's like five people working here, orders backed out the door but two people are just sort of standing around at the cash register barely doing anything. Took me 15 extra minutes to get my food, and I had to go up twice. The second time I went up it had been waiting there for several minutes even though I had already told them what I was waiting for. Terrible customer service.
Love them!!! Reminds me so much of Blimpies back home! Subs are always so good!
