Supporting local businesses is important to me, but the way they’re managed says a lot about the overall experience. I stopped by my local Jersey Mike’s this week — which is something I do regularly. I ordered a viral sandwich that turned out a little messy, but that wasn’t the issue. The same person who made my sandwich also rang me up — without changing his gloves.
