Non-celiac Gluten Intolerant here — on a road trip the other day I stopped to get a gluten free sub. I informed the first girl that I had celiac disease and needed to avoid cross contamination with gluten. She very carefully wiped down the slicer and seemed to be following the gluten free protocol, but then she passed on my sandwich to the next worker. Updated Review – 2 Stars (March 19) Today around 5pm, I walked in as the only customer and ordered a #5. One employee acknowledged me and appeared ready to start, but after waiting a couple of minutes, nothing had been done—not even the bread was taken out. I asked what was going on and whether someone could help me. I went in with very low expectations! This place is right next door to probably the dirtiest Chipotle in the country. Maybe is me, but the meats seemed a little bit less vs what I got before ar other locations, I hope they are not trying to save few cents on less or thinner slices, that will be big damage to the brand. I went in with very low expectations. This place is right next to a Chipotle, which is probably the most dirtier fast food I have ever seen. It might be me, but it felt like the meats were in lower quantity than other places. It could be less slices and/or thinner ones. Either way it would be stupid to damage the brand by trying to save few cents on meat. The other ingredients were generous.
