Stood at an empty counter for nearly 5 min. Once the young lady and young man came out from the back, she was nice and helpful. Made my order quickly. The entire place was filthy. Not one clean table. Food everywhere. Same behind the counter. The young man working had a friend hanging out at one of the tables. Once I sat down to eat they were loud, cussing and just unprofessional. Society is just going down the toilet.
Without question, this is the biggest ripoff in the history of sandwiches. I just paid $23 for a “giant” cheesesteak with “extra cheese,” which was far from giant and far from extra cheese. The bread is godawful, incredibly pale and soft, and was not toasted at all. The steak was flavorless and there was a fairly small amount of it. The onions were almost nonexistent. I’ve been to this location several times, but this was the best visit yet. Ordered online the evening of July 9, 2025—sandwiches were made quickly, had great flavor, and came with adequate toppings. Ingredients seemed fresher and better quality than usual. The store was clean, and staff were polite and accommodating. I’ve seen past reviews with complaints, but I have none. Highly recommend the Orange City Jersey Mike’s!
I visited the Jersey Mike’s in Orange City on May 31st around 6 PM and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. As someone with Celiac disease, I appreciate when restaurants make a sincere effort to accommodate gluten-sensitive customers. While this location may appear gluten-friendly at a glance, I would strongly advise those with Celiac or serious gluten sensitivities to consider other options.... such as the Deland location, which has consistently treated us with care and respect.
