walked in at 2pm to order a roast beef/provlone. I asked for white bread. The employee said: "we're all out, have none." Nothing else, no explanation of why. I said Ok, I'll go somewhere else. How does a sandwich shop run out of their core ingredient, white bread? This is an absolute embarassment. Was it a forecasting mistake, a supplier disruption, a baking delay, etc? Horrible experience. I walked in to an empty restaurant and was looked at like an nuisance to the staff even though they were just talking at the front counter. When then they proceeded to take 25 minutes to make 2 sandwiches regular sized. It doesn't make sense how two sandwiches can take 25 minutes to make when there was not a single other customer in the store. This was a genuinely horrible experience. Placed our order the manager proceeded to ask one of their staff members to put their phone away even though they’re off the clock. She then did not listen to what we ordered. Ended up with the wrong bread on one of the four sandwiches. As a different staff member was adding toppings. The manager proceeded a text message on her watch multiple times right after she told someone else to put their phone away. Seems super inappropriate to me.
