The food is always great at jersey mikes. The workers are friendly here but did not comply to all the safety rules. The main guy did not change his gloves after touching the tuna nor follow guidelines for gluten free orders. This includes washing your hands, changing gloves, and using a separate cutting board and knife. In addition the main seating area is a little dirty with dust and the tables were not wiped down.
Ordered a steak and cheese giant sized. I let the guy no please no peppers or onions. He acknowledged this. Waited for the food to be made. Another guy ha dhis finished at same time but his was extra meat or something so I grabbed this one. Just opened it to eat and and covered in peppers and onions. Come on man do your job right or just don't show up. Just wasted $20 on a crap sandwich because the guy either can't remember an order or read his own hand writing. The sandwiches are terrific. Highly recommend this place for a quick meal.
I come here all the time but lately the wait times to get my sandwich has been over a 10-15 minutes wait to get a plain Philly steak. My last experience was not good I asked the short guy with glasses how much longer it would take and he said whenever it comes out you will get it. This store has really gone downhill over these past two months won’t see me here again. Such a shame to see it like this.
