Excellent service, very welcoming team! My sandwich was amazing. I always come to this location because of the quality and the service.
Staff was clearly short-handed but doing their best. I ordered a giant Italian, which was confirmed by the person who took my order. However, the middle staff member—who was juggling takeout, walk-ins, and prep—mistakenly gave half of my sandwich to a takeout order and handed me just one half. When I pointed it out, it was made to seem like I had just changed the order, which wasn’t the case. Small thing, but placing the receipt directly on the bread also felt unsanitary. I am not normally this person but I have to give a heads up about how gross the fountain machine was just now in New Providence. There was pink sludge dripping off the ice dispenser it was awful. It leaves me concerned for the cleanliness of the rest of the location.
This is my second time trying Jersey Mikes and again I am not impressed. The turkey was a very low grade meat and the sandwich was small and expensive.
