I had a prior bad experience at this Jersey Mikes on baseline & day creek. My sandwich was made wrong so I called the store and spoke to the mgr. When I told her the sandwich was made wrong she told me no it wasn’t bc I made it. I again said yes it was made wrong. I had the receipt and said what I ordered is not what I got. She was rude and asked what I wanted and I said to replace it. She then agreed to replace the sandwich and said bring the receipt in. What she failed to tell me was you have 1 mo to come back. First time ever at Jersey Mikes. I have seen jersey mikes in metro detroit area thousands of times, drove past it but never tried it. Now, here I am tried my first ever sandwich in no other place than Rancho Cucamonga. I know this is day day city!!!
I will never return to this location, and i will make sure everyone i know does not return, and being in a similar industry i know alot of people. I ordered my bowl and wanted to add on pepperoni for 2.99$ and the employee said they are not allowed to do that. I asked for an explanation, as all other jersey mikes are happy to add on items for an additional fee, of course they are it helps their sales!! Poor customer service. Was not greeted or even acknowledged my presence. I voiced out a “hi” so they could know I was there and none of the present staff acknowledged me. Customer service is what keeps customers returning. Not this one.
Usually, I have a good experience. I was on a lunch break in uniform (30 min) and held the door for a lady who was a customer. She walked in front of me to order first, which was a little upsetting, but I let it go until I heard she was ordering a giant sandwich, a regular sandwich, and a bowl. That's when I spoke up, mentioning that me holding the door for her and her not allowing me to order first was upsetting. Then, your staff still put her order ahead of mine and made me feel like I was an issue for being upset.
