El Mexicano has become one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always delicious, the portions are great, and the service is top notch. I’ve tried at least 6 or 7 different menu items and have never been disappointed. Today I had the pupusas, and that sealed the deal for me. They were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely hit the spot. I looked up what time they open because I needed a sandwich for a field trip. I waited by the door the two girls saw me waiting and Intentionally put the huge large rack of bread in front of them so I couldn’t see them no longer five minutes past. I knocked on the window and I said it’s 9:35 and one of the girls said we don’t open till 10 so why would Google says 9:30 and the glass door at the location says 9:30 and wouldn’t have the decency to come to the door and let me know that they don’t open till 10 AM. I always go all the time for lunch! They’re amazing and lovely people and always provide a pleasant experience.
I went this afternoon to my favorite Jersey Mike’s and was very unhappy with my experience. There were a couple of people being served and they said Hello Welcome when I entered. I walked over to the order area and saw there were 4 giants being prepped. One person fixing the prepped items with lettuce etc. Two people doing the slicing and handing off meats and cheeses.
