I haven't had a sub sandwich in over 12 years due to being GF. Lettuce wraps just don't cut it. This has all changed since visiting Jersey Mike's Subs. They use an Udi's sub roll and pile it high with all sorts of freshly sliced and/or cooked meats and cheeses. What I loved most of all though, when I said I was Gluten Free, everyone stopped and cleaned their stations with a proper wipe down and clean up, glove changes, trays, and new cutting knives to prevent crumb contamination.
