I went to go in a decent time before they are supposed to close and to make it clear they were still making sandwiches and cutting meats when I walked in looking for only 2 cold sandwiches not even hot Sandwich and was told they were closed and couldn’t make me a simple Sandwich even though they are still making sandwiches and customers waiting for their food to be finished being made and it’s a decent time before they are supposed to close
I usually pick up or have it delivered, but their stores are nice enough for eat-in. I wish the menu had more choices, but it’s not a full-scale Italian sub shop, The quality is great, though. Blows Subway away. The only sandwich chain I like a bit better is D’Angelos. But they’re fewer and farther between.
While it was busy, the staff was efficient and got the line down so fast I was eating in 5 minutes. I specifically wanted to mention 3 employees who had a smile the whole time. Emma, who was on register is very kind and gave me the names, Jab who was slicing the meat had wonderful energy to start out my visit, and Alexia topped the sub beautifully. Hats off to them and their teamwork.
The store staff (like 7 or 8 people actually on) could not handle the orders. It was busy but not that busy. I placed my order an hour ahead online, paid and everything, store did not have my order. Had to go back and forth with staff person to get them to make my sandwiches. Manager came out and said they’d “have them right out” what they meant was they’d have them after they took care of everyone else in the store. I waited another 20 min before I got them. I should have just left.
