I came here for the first time to order a sandwich. To my surprise, the staffs were extremely quiet and a bit rude. I was expecting them to guide me through the ordering process but they didn't care enough to do so. I asked one of the employees there how big the regular size was and he touched the sandwich with the same hand that he used to touch the cleaning rag. My sandwich was okay. My family and I decided to try this place after receiving a coupon from the Bloomington library. Our first visit was okay—although the restaurant felt unusually empty compared to the others nearby, where students were filling the seats. The staff seemed stressed, and the manager gave the impression that he was reluctant to honor our coupon, though in the end, it worked out. It was a hot day so I didn’t want to cook and Jersey Mikes sounded amazing! The staff were very quiet and seemed super annoyed with any customer interaction, but they made a damn good sandwich that was filling and fresh!
