Vegetarians beware Just got two number 14 veggie and cheese sandwiches at Jersey Mike's in Madison and I asked if the slicer could be cleaned and was told they didn't have time. At the time there was no one behind us in line. I sometimes overlook it, because i know it's inconvenient to clean it but today it was so badly caked up with lots of various meat pieces and the slicer wall itself was thick with the residue.. so I asked..we've been Vegetarian for over 20 years.. anyway they refused to clean it.
Usually door dash this place for pickup. Food has always been great.
Took forever but the workers were polite. Seems like a management issue that they weren't properly staffed. Meat on sandwich was pretty skimpy...
Jersey Mikes used to be the sandwich shop, but last night was just the worst experience. I walked in and was the only customer and placed my order. Before the sever started making my sandwich 3 more customers walked in and the server took their orders and proceeded to make all 4 sandwiches at the same time — which meant I had to wait 15 minutes to get my sandwich.
