I want to love this place, bc the subs are pretty good, but all 3 times I’ve come my sandwich was not made correctly. The staff is nice, and will give the corrections, it’s just a bit disappointing when I place an order online, that you can read and verify, and it’s not right.
Sad to say I have finally experienced it, and it took me 51 years. I go inside this jersey Mike's, order waited to be checked out after 3 people behind get checked out by the white cashier. The white guy with a black mole/ birthmark on his face called for a worker from the back whom happened to be black. I really enjoy a Jersey Mike’s sandwich—always fresh and flavorful! However, the experience at the Richmond, TX 77407 location has been consistently disappointing when visiting later in the evening. This is the third time I’ve come by after 8:45 p.m. and they’ve been out of bread—tonight, they were also out of lettuce. What’s even more frustrating is being left standing at the counter while staff go to the back to discuss how to break the news, rather than addressing the issue promptly and directly. We have ordered takeout from this location on several occasions, and each time we've been more than happy with our order. The sandwiches have all been delicious, fulfilling, and well-prepared. One evening while I waited for my takeout order to be completed, the owner gifted me a $20 e-gift card for my wait. The gesture was a great end to a long day and much appreciated. I think it's worth spending your dollars here.
