Great company if you enjoy not having power
JCP&L has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you don’t have high blood pressure before you contact them, you most certainly will have it after you complete the call. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! I’m only giving them one star because I couldn’t post with no stars.
Ever since they put in their “ smart” meter my bill has been dumb high…. We burn wood for heat and are barely home. I’m sure if you had someone explain it they’d not even be sure how to explain. Maybe “ our bosses needed money “
Wish there was a zero star option. They need to stop saying ‘Longer than average wait times’ on their phone system. Every time I call the wait time is 3+ hours! That IS their average. How can anyone expect to get assistance if it’s impossible to reach them?! They also try to direct you to their website which I attempted, and even their ‘contact us’ submissions say longer than average wait times! They need to fix their trash phone system and hire some competent people. Wish there was another choice of electric service for my ... read more
