This has been our family business for 46yrs. I have been on deck side by side with my dad full time for the past 13yrs but grew up here most my life. There are No new owners and No new recipes and dad has actually been out of the kitchen for the past 8yrs. Hence.. why the food is still great! We actually have always charged for the salad bar. Atmosphere, delicious food, very good service.
I convinced my fiance to try Jerry's again on Valentine's Day. We have had no real issues with the food quality but the service is always 100% bad. Waited 15 mins for water and soda. Ok, it was NOT busy. Fine. Takes order then another 15 mins for our bread and crackers. Which I'm sure the new owners will take away soon enough. Charged extra now for salad bar (substantial too like 5$); when it should be included in dinner.
