I took my 19 year old son in to see Dr. Liu, it was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. He asked very condescendingly why we were here, I went over the reasons and why we were referred to him and he said…and? He said he shouldn’t be seeing a hematologist, his problems aren’t something he can help. We were given a referral to see a hematologist from his regular doctor as well as the specialist he went to see at the liver disease institute. Dr. Liu is highly competent. He acted quickly and with Great concern for me. He put me in the hospital right away and I was diagnosed in 3 days. He helped me get connected with Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I am very lucky to have my health due to seeing him first. I think another doc may not have acted so quickly or diagnosed me so quickly. He is very smart and caring.
