I took my BMW to Jerrys a few days ago after an unsuccessful repair by another local shop. I have wasted time and money by letting a rude mechanic trying to work on my car in the past, so obviously I was skeptical with these guys, I did not know what to expect from them. It is really hard to find honest and good mechanics nowadays. .
Boy oh boy, this service is above and beyond any other repair place I know of! First of all, they treated me with respect, took my information, wrote down all my complaints and I was told, after the diagnostics they will be calling me with the results. within a few hours I got a phone call from Christien, who explained what was wrong with my car. I was really nervous at first, because I have spent quite a lot of money in the past few weeks at another place where they were unable to fix my car and still made me pay for such repairs as cam sensor and purge valve replacement , then new oxygen sensor, but the drive-ability of my car did not improve one bit, nor the check engine light went away. So, having said that, Chris explained to me that all it was is a loose mass airflow meter, disconnected from its place causing my car to act weird and drive like it has no power. And that is it!!!!! No parts replacement was recommended , he cleared the codes and my car was ready. I was floored, when I got the news, because previously other mechanics were not able to figure this out, costing me unnecessary $$$$. These guys took the time to not just run computer diagnostics on my car, but to manually check things out under the hood, and finding the problem with the mass airflow hook. The best part is: I only got charged for the diagnostics because Chris said it only took him 5 second to reinstall the loose part. Words cannot describe my gratitude towards the folks at Jerrys /Elite. I wish I could rate this business 10 stars, because 5 does not do real justice. I'm beyond satisfied, and highly recommend them to anyone with German cars. Im a customer for life for sure!!!! - John S.
