I was sent to Dr. Givens from the ER and was told I had Prostatitis. Like many other posts I've seen, the staff was very friendly. However, as soon as Dr. Givens came into the room it was apparent that I was wasting his time, he seemed very annoyed. He ignored my multiple expressions of pain, was not very interested in my symptoms and then just handed me my chart. I had Dr givens 5 years ago I was in bad pain his staff squeezed me and within a min I was face to face with a very caring man who took care of me as if I was his own kid I had a kidney stone to big to pass they had me in surgery to blast out a 8 mil kidney stone . He and his staff were amazing thank you again Dr givens and every one of surgical team and staff god bless you all
Great physician, explains options clearly, talented surgeon, a great communicator who gets to the point and resolves issues efficiently. The staff is very friendly, well educated regarding their practice and follow up meetings are a pleasure. This doctor demonstrates that he really cares about his patients. Very comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend Dr. Givens to anyone who wants to be treated promptly, professionally and with class.
Dr Givens is a wonderful urologist. He is very caring and very thorough. I have been going to Dr Givens for a year now after moving here from Kerrville Texas. The front office staff is excellent also.I am going to transfer to a urologist in Springfield Missouri because of a very difficult nurse that works for all the urologists in doctor Givens' suite.. It is a shame that one person can run a patient off from a superb doctor and staff. Hopefully she'll get a long vacation or maybe retire or find another job.
