Dr. Jerry is an amazing optometrist. He is professional, patient, and an excellent communicator. During my recent visit, he carefully reviewed my glasses and contact lens prescriptions. He kindly explained that they were overcorrected and were likely causing my eye strain and headaches. He answered all of my questions and concerns without any judgment. His thoroughness and genuine dedication to patient care really stood out. I left feeling much better about my prescription and truly well cared for. I highly recommend him!
After visiting multiple medical centers and receiving incorrect diagnoses, my eye condition continued to get worse. I was fortunate to get an appointment with Dr. Jerry D’Aversa Jr., and he identified the problem immediately! Dr Jerry Daversa very rude, arrogant, disrespectful and unprofessional walked into the room while I was on the phone trying to get referral his front desk receptionist asked for. Was very upset I was on the phone slammed folder on desk yells out I’m not examining you because you’re on you phone. I could not believe his temper. Dr. D'Aversa has looked after my eyes now for several years, and he has always been extremely thorough, attentive, friendly, kind, and - more recently - very reassuring when I needed some reassurance. I would recommend him highly.
Dr. D’Aversa was very friendly and helpful. He answered all of my questions thoroughly, and was very fast to get back to me when I called about an issue I was having. HIGHLY recommend!!
