Avoid this fraud. Billed me nearly $600 for an office visit he claimed went 60plus minutes. (Actually just a normal consult that lasted less than 30 minutes. Of course insurance did not want to pay.) Called numerous times over 6 months & talked to billing & office manager. They always said that bill was incorrect & they would fix it - but never did. Dr Barker is the best doctor i have ever been treated by. He is willing to spend however much time you need to discuss your treatment options, side effects, and everything that goes along with the process of radiation therapy. He met with my wife and me on two different occasions, both lasting until after the office closed. Our discussion was the epitome of clarity and openness. His staff is as good. Dr. Barker and his team are simply the best! His easy demeanor, talent, and positive attitude made me feel like I was exactly where I needed to be. The staff was cohesive, confident, and compassionate, lifting my spirits despite the challenges I was facing. They even worked around my late arrivals and got everything done seamlessly. I recently finished radiation therapy for head and neck cancer. Dr. Barker and his team were amazing. They were kind, sympathetic and knowledgeable. Every person in the office had the best attitude which is exactly what you need when you are going through radiation treatment. I would recommend Dr. Barker to anyone that asks.
