The absolute lack of professionalism in this office is unbelievable. Across two appointments, we have been rescheduled I believe FOUR times. How is that possible? This is not my first interaction with the healthcare system, but it has been the most unprofessional experience I’ve had with a doctor to date.

I think Dr. Hackney and his staff need to post this statement from the AMA Code of medical ethics somewhere in their office: “Patients should be able to be confident that they will receive the results of clinical tests in a timely fashion. Physicians have a corresponding obligation to be considerate of patient concerns and anxieties and ensure that patients receive test results within a reasonable time frame. Professional yet friendly demeanor. The most impressive thing, is the lack of wait time. Office runs on schedule.

We love Dr Hackney but his office is not efficient. We have discussed this with the multiple office managers he has had and with Dr Hackney and just received excuses. Something needs to happen at a corporate level. This is not the standard for Texas Oncology offices and I don’t understand why someone from corporate office has not improved the situation. My mother has a yearly procedures and every year since he came to this area it is the same situation
