We knew what the HOA prices were when we moved in, but we're not getting what we pay for. They never pick up trash that blows around the neighborhood, but give us warnings if our trash cans aren't inside within 24 hours. They won't mow the common areas for weeks but threaten charges if not resolved in 24-48 hours. Our common areas are full of weeds, sparse grass, crooked street signs, left over construction barriers and dead trees. I don't really understand what we're getting for the charges.

They do not take care of trails and green spaces as expected, many areas are overrun with weeds and with tick season it’s just reckless. They also do not allow fences of any kind, even if you live by a pond, thus you may have neighbors dogs or other people walking thru your back yard, and no fencing around the drainage ponds unlike in other HOAs I’ve seen. (There’s an Ohio law about having a fence around an in ground pool if you get one and that’s all that’s allowed) I’ve never seen them spray for mosquitos near our pond eit... read more

Lies, deception and greed. Refuses to let homeowners know where they spend our money. Refuses to let homeowners KNOW that a meeting is taking place to spend said money. Refuses to make any changes that are asked to improve the community -because “it wasn’t in the original plans”(but neither were the extra 5,000 houses built). The walking paths and streets do not get touched in the snow. Zero playgrounds. Over crowded pool. No other amenities (pickleball,basketball).
