Two years later they moved their business to the 500 Block of Hay Street in Fayetteville, and then to 206 Gillespie Street, where the business remained until 1958, when the present Funeral Home was built at its location on Ramsey Street. Following my husband’s death in May of last year, I spoke with three funeral directors in Fayetteville. In just one phone call, Trey Herring of Jernigan Warren Funeral Home showed a significantly higher standard of care and professionalism than any other. That standard would continue until my husband’s burial could be cleared, due to Covid, in a National Cemetery.
