Dr. J has been my urologist since I moved to the Bay Area over 4 years ago. Fortunately, even though I've had high grade prostate cancer for 7+ years now, all Dr. J has ever had to do is a basic exam, offer almost always excellent advice, listens carefully and care. I consider him my friend and you can bet when the day comes that any tubes need to be inserted and/or surgery done "down there", I've already got him on speed dial. Like Dr. Lieb well enough. He seems knowledgeable and caring. He does not rush you and presents you with information and options to make informed decisions about your own care. His staff, however, is unprofessional and uncaring. I am currently in my third week waiting for a specialty Rx to be called into a pharmacy Pacific Urology is contracted with (i.e., not my choice, theirs). Numerous phone calls to Pacific Urology mostly illicit "attitude." Who am I to both them? No one takes responsibility. Its the pharmacy's fault, ca... read more

Dr. Lieb is one of my favorite doctors of any kind I've ever been treated by. He's caring, compassionate, intelligent, funny, knowledgeable, and really goes the extra mile to make sure you feel well taken care of. Office staff are great - efficient and organized. I wish Dr. Lieb could be my doctor for everything!! I never write reviews but I was so happy with the care I received here I felt I needed to share.
Dr Lieb is a rare individual. He truly cares for his patients inside and out.
Very knowledgeable personable doctor who is unhurried with his exam and is willing to answer any and all questions and concerns.Wouldnt hesitate to recommend.
