I drove by and saw the sign for “Italian Ice,” which immediately caught my attention—it’s usually hard to find good Italian ice around here. I decided to give this place a shot, even though I was a bit skeptical at first. The setup is unique: you get to build your own creation by layering Italian ice with soft-serve ice cream. The ice cream is good but having two workers completely ignore you even though they see you standing there is unacceptable. I understand how food service works having worked in it for years and when a customer comes in, busy or not, you at least acknowledge them with a "hey there, I'll be right with you." Not a peep out of either the young man or woman and there was only one person at the window and one in line in front of me. 2 stars, will just stick to another location.
