Started off as a good PCP, but I was quick to learn, when he refused to give me a culture on my wound infection and I had to go to a clinic to get one, then before he would give me a prescription for my pain relief, he had me go into a nurse And have her Count the number of pills I had left in a six month old prescription in front of a nurse and a witness, and then three weeks prior to my next appointment. He is so thorough and kind. He keeps you so well informed about what he's thinking and the best treatment plan moving forward. I feel he makes sure all the boxes are checked for any concern you may have and he really wants to get to the bottom of it.
Dr Kakes is a very good doctor. I was having medication issues and he came into exam all prepared to help. He already reviewed what was going on with me and is a very good listener to my many concerns. He took the time to walk me through all my options and found a solution. The earlier review about him shaking is ridiculous. Everyone knows someone who just shakes one leg on occasion. It's just an anxious twitch. I do it myself! My coworker does.
