Except for older lady at front desk staff is aloof and not very helpful. When told one insurance would not cover test. Called to give secondary info and was told I would have to call myself and get confirmation and have ok faxed to them. They did not want to seem to resolve issue. Had gave 2nd card info at appt but they did not want to confirm when I had been told before it had been approved . Very frustrating to have to deal with on my own when they have codes to submit and I do not
I came in complaining of unusual fatigue and with nothing other than a thyroid test, basically told me I felt 'old & tired' because I WAS old & tired...not taking into account I am a cancer survivor. My next mammogram diagnosed breast cancer & after the lumpectomy, my energy returned. The only black mark against the tnire Tahoe Forest Health care system.
Took biopsy of a skin "blemish". Also gave very practical advice concerning administration of my medications and related risks.
I went to see Dr Barta for chronic headaches, I was hoping she’d help me figure out the cause and refer me to a specialist if necessary. She gave me a basic exam, asked a few questions, and told me I was just getting old (43 at the time). No referral, no treatment. That’s unacceptable. Now I have a great neurologist who diagnosed intractable migraines, tension headaches, spinal issues and a fractured vertebrae I didn’t know about. Underwent surgery with Dr. Watson 1 month ago and have nothing but the best things to say about him and his team! He made the entire process from start to finish so easy and stress-free! I got a Septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and rhinoplasty. I've never been able to breathe well out of my nose, so Dr. Watson walked me through every single option for me and surgery was the best. Great doctor, lousy office, poor or no response to queries. Takes months before they respond when you ask for an appointment. Will not do telemedicine unless you are COVID positive. She is smart and thorough but the lack of responsiveness of the office and the hospital that bought the practice makes the care situation impossible to deal,with.
Horrible experiences with this doctor and staff. Either they misdiagnose you with a terminal illness or they tell you everything is fine when you actually might have a terminal illness. Both of these things happened to a friend and a family member.
Dr Jensen has been my primary Doc for 3 years and she is outstanding. Thorough and thoughtful.
She told me I had cancer while I was shopping in a grocery store, which turned out to be totally wrong. I do not recommend her for anyone
