First a disclosure that Ms. Ballou Jensen represented my former wife in what might have been an agreeable dissolution action filed by her. My (pro se) offers to mediate were unheeded. Resolution by collaborative council were rejected leading to IMHO unnecessary litigation, court time and significant attorney's fees for both parties. At the end of the day, it is my opinion that Ms. Ballou Jensen's predilection to litigation caused both parties significant damage by diluting the marital estate. Deanna, a pox on your house. I cannot summon words bad enough to describe Deanna Jensen. She is a horrible lawyer and person. I paid her good money to help me with my divorce that I told her at the very first meeting was simple. My husband and me wanted to get divorced, we had no kids, no house, and we had only been married 18 months. We just wanted to go off and be done. Great divorce lawyer! Deanna Jensen who is an attorney at Jensen & Leiberan is a powerful yet caring advocate. She assessed my case and was very helpful in letting me know what I could get and what would just be a fight. The end result was fair. Since I am still co-parenting with my ex-wife it is important that we were able to stop fighting and start working on what was best for our kids. However, she was not afraid to fight when it was needed. She gets my highest marks.
Powerful and experienced for appeals Margaret Leiberan specializes in appeals and is one of the most experienced and respected appellate lawyers in the state. I had a complex, very emotionally charged case and she did a wonderful job of writing a brief that told my story clearly and compellingly. At oral argument she was effective and able to answer all of the judge's questions. I am very pleased both with her work and with the results in my case.
