I gave him a deposit 5 months ago, no work done and my refund has been in the mail for 1 month. took my money and disappeared.

I also paid half up front, in May. No work was ever done. Nor have I received a refund of any kind. Dan has ignored all contact from my lawyer and I since October, now my only option is to file suit.
Don't have time to write a book about this company! !!!
We also paid for half of our concrete work to be done over a year ago. We kept getting put off and the work still is not done. We were tired of waiting, so We hired someone else to complete the work. Full refund was not given back upon request. Shame on me for not getting a signed contract, but didn't think I needed one since the owner lives in the neighborhood.
