We used the ferry today at around 9:00am and 3:00pm. The line to get onto a boat in the afternoon took over an hour to get to. There wasn’t a big sense of urgency from the ships. I would not recommend planning a hike and banking on the boats for the way back. Next time I will plan on walking the extra 2 miles back.
Fun experience, hike was easy enough and the view was great! Approachable with kids. Bring water!
Take the scenic Ferry ride and book it in advance. The line gets really long. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we had a great experience. Thanks Hanna!
