Kayaking on the lake is the way to go!
This review is strictly for Jenny Boat Tours. Fantastic and the staff are very kind and funny. Joking with the passengers. We had a great tour guide in Tommy.
Never got to kayak despite trying over a span of two days, three times. The first time, the staff said it was too windy. But there were people still out kayaking on the lake and they had just sent someone out in a kayak about 10-15 minutes before we asked. A couple hours later after a hike, we asked again, still too windy, all the kayaks were in, but there was hardly a breeze. Day 2, we ask around 4:30 PM if they would allow us to kayak, since they don't close until 6:00 PM according to their site. Guess what? They were clos... read more
Great smooth ride across the lake and back. It gets crowded so get there early. We were a bit late to reach after 9 AM on a weekday and had to park about a mile out on the road! The staff is friendly, boat pilots are funny, knowladgable and great human beings. Do not miss this id you are in the area. Adult tickets are round way 20 usd per person. They run from 7 to 7 local time.
It's one of the most beautiful lakes. We loved it and visited two days in a row!!
