Dr Joseph saw my mother in the hospital. That visit was fine, however follow up was horrible, and communication with her and her office abysmal. I had, what I considered an urgent, but not emergency, question regarding a RX she prescribed and its interaction with other of mom’s meds. After 2 calls and messages on “MyChart, 3 WEEKS LATER, still no response at all!!! Would give zero stars except for the care at the hospital where, I guess, she happened to be on call that day. She does a great job of getting patients the high-cost meds for multiple sclerosis. That has never been an issue, and i appreciate her for that. What i don't understand is why she won't prescribe hydroxyzine. that medication has provided more relief from my MS symptoms than these expensive immune-depleting DMT meds. I had an issue with anxiety, which is a symptom of MS, and it provokes MS, and there are medications approved for this purpose. Dr Joseph is a good doctor. Front office staff isn't that great though.
Dr Joseph is a fine doctor but the office staff is exactly NO HELP AT ALL. They issue different instructions when you call for an appointment and gate keep better than a pro level goalie. Worse yet they attempt redirect patients to other services when this type of decision should come from the medical team.
Dr. Joseph is wonderful does not hurry. Readily answers questions. Patient, kind & insightful.
