I recently was a Kaiser outpatient needing a lumpectomy. Dr. Hong was my surgeon before, during and after the procedure. And she was a blessing. Dr. Hong was professional and knowledgeable. But more than that...she was kind, thoughtful, and respectful. During a very difficult time, she gave me comfort. I will always be thankful for her and for Kaiser.
My wife was recently under her care. From the start she made us feel comfortable and hopeful. Her knowledge, personality and passion really made us feel at ease and we appreciated it from the start. Very good surgeon and kind
Visit was very good and Dr. Hong was very thorough but I did not understand this was only an initial consultation based on the initial phone screening. Dr. Hong did explain very well what procedures need to be done next - Final procedure appointment is TBD ; BUT message on KP.org said next scheduling call could be up to 10 more days and call could come from an unfamiliar phone number so I should answer what might appear to be ???.
