Tip: the cakes are much better than the cupcakes. Opt for a cake or slices of cake over the cupcakes. Tip 2: the red velvet cake is their best. I don’t even usually like red velvet cake, but I do from this shop! Tip 3: The website says orders for cakes must be at least 3 days in advance. However, what I’ve learned is this only applies to 4 days. The rest of the days— you have to wait LONGER. If you order on Thursday— they won’t let you pick up until the following Wednesday. Great food, service, and atmosphere! We enjoyed a cupcake break and loved the purple velvet.
I was really excited to try this place after reading so many positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I ordered the tres leches cake and the mango cupcake based on the staff’s recommendations. The tres leches was dry and lacked flavor. After the first bite, I took another hoping it would get better, but it honestly tasted like plain bread.
