Dr Setlur did both of my children’s ear tubes and tonsil removal. She has been my go to ENT for my kiddos for over 10 years. She is kind, sweet and extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend her to anyone with kiddos who need ENT care.
I would not recommend seeing Dr. Setlur. My kiddo needed some oral ties released and Dr. Setlur was recommended by one of the IBCLCs at Emerson. We saw Dr. Setlur and she said she saw no need to release. We then saw another IBCLC and she said the ties were in fact affecting his feeding and they needed to be released. When we went back to Dr. Setlur, she said she saw in my son's chart that there was a note from an IBCLC saying he needed them released. I took my child to Dr Setlur to evaluate her tonsils. The level of arrogance and condescension that I and my daughter experienced was absolutely insulting. Also, she rushed the appointment which prompted me to ask the nurse to see if we could get a more thorough examination for my daughter. Dr Setlur should stick with teaching and not interact with patients. I will return Boston Childrens Hospital for any future ENT needs.
