The office staff stopped me from even considering this doctor. Someone who answers the phone should not be explaining how the doctor will or will not treat a patient. Medical advice to should not be given over the phone to a new patient by a receptionist.
I have been a patient of Dr Follwell for almost 2 years. She is extremely knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. The only people who disagree in reviews seem to be people who don't understand medical science. Particularly those who are into "alternative medicines" (which is not medicine)
I saw her to get annual routine wellness bloodwork which is complimentary through my insurance. Upon her finding out I was on a plant-based diet, she took it upon herself to send me to the lab with bloodwork for a nutrition deficiency, costing me hundreds. When the insurance wouldn’t cover it and told me to tell her to change the code on the order, she refused and instead banned me from her office.
hmmm thought she really cared in the beginning now im feeling judged big time ready for a new doc would love for her to live a day in my shoes
