Dr. Gerard is a wonderful physician. She implemented her treatment plans based upon evidence based practice and spent time evaluating her patients carefully instead of slapping on a generic diagnosis. As a bedside nurse who has worked by her side, I have seen her save hundreds of lives and work tirelessly to better patient outcomes. Hospital medicine is difficult and often thankless, but she never wavered. The truth is sometimes hard to hear, but you will always get honesty from Dr. Gerard.
She is the epitome of someone who chose the wrong profession. She does not do her job well, or with care, in any way. I was a patient of hers while admitted to Cleveland Clinic in Indian River County. Her treatment of me was beyond unacceptable. She never fully read charts to know what was or had been truly going on, she only based it off the moment she interacted with you. Missing the mark in my overall care completely.
