I had a video visit with Dr. McGowen. She is not my primary physician but her care was exceptional. She was the one to call me. Not a nurse. I had a couple follow up questions. Honestly? If she was in closer proximity to me I would switch!
Dr McGowen is very though and caring
Went to her with serious concerns that she trivialized. I also had records from other specialist visits sent to her and she never referenced them or bothered to synthesize the information to get a bigger picture of the problem. Spent 5 minutes each time. Some of her office staff were downright rude. Was disappointed as other reviews as well as insurance noted her high level of care. Visits were a complete waste of money.
Finding Dr. McGowen was one of the best things about my recent move to the Chicagoland area. She is so kind, knowledgeable, intelligent, open to discussing treatment plans, and will sit and answer your questions for as long as you need her to. Her office staff is also the epitome of helpfulness and friendliness. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
