I have been seeing Dr. Marshal for many years, and felt she was efficient, not a greatlistened, albeit always seemed rushed. Went to Dr.Marshak very recently because my normal gyno wasn’t available. My experience at the gyno has always been pleasant and I’ve never had a doctor be dismissive, until Marshak. When explaining what was going on she basically made it seem like I was wasting her time for coming in. She was extremely condescending which made me uncomfortable. I saw Dr. Marshack for over 10 years. She was great in the beginning, but became very dismissive towards the end. Got very annoyed with questions, wouldn’t talk to me about coming off birth control and brushed off my symptoms as “psychological,” and was rude when I said I didn’t want the HPV vaccine. Seemed a little odd that I met my OB for the first time at 16 weeks (had only been scheduled with nurses up until this point at Suffolk ONGYN). She seemed a bit annoyed to answer all of my questions (I wanted to ask them all to an actual OB in addition to the nurses that I saw), but was friendly nonetheless.
