The clinic here was very kind during my appointment, but when I brought up my issue to the doctor here her first response was that my issue is likely due to being overweight, even though I’ve been dealing with this issue for my entire life even at 100lbs. She prescribed me medication to help lower health risks from the issue and I was thankful for that but she had no willingness to help me figure out the root of the problem or to work with me, just recommended I go to a fertility specialist. My best friend went to her years ago with dangerous high risk pregnancy. This woman literally told her that her twisted ovary was no big deal. This was the same week I had my ovary removed due to torsion.
My experience with Dr. Powell has been fantastic. She is very kind, patient, and really listened to everything I had to say. She really took the time to help process my concerns and made a plan that was effective and made me feel the most comfortable. I would highly recommend!
Love having her as my Doctor! She listens and cares about every concern you have! She explains everything if you have questions and just overall an amazing doctor! Been going to her since my first kid and now 3 kids later I will continue to go to her!
