Very unsympathetic towards patients in pain. I had been dismissed by doctors for years while seeking an endometriosis diagnosis. Dr Ou sent me on an endless roundabout with my symptoms and continued to think I had chlamydia or gonorrhea even though tests came back negative multiple times. Turns out I had untreated pelvic inflammatory disease that I lived with for 3 months before she started me on antibiotics. I felt like she was in a hurry to get me out the door the moment she walked in. She barely acknowledged my concerns and didn't take the time to explain the tests she wanted me to do. When I told her that the information was all new to me she seemed annoyed. She did not seem sympathetic or caring about my situation and even seemed judgemental about some of my morals. I left the appointment feeling very emotionally shaken.
She is great and handled my complicated pregnancy very well!
Dr. Ou is nothing but professional. She has a lot of compassion and is willing to listen to your issues, rather than shrug them off. She is a kind soul to have as an OB/GYN
