Abusive and disrespectful behavior makes this person the worst to deal with. Do not interact or trust them.
I had a deeply frustrating experience with Dr. Overly during my stay at Troy Beaumont Hospital. When she entered my room, she told me there was no blockage and that the Gastrographin worked. She then stated that I could eat whatever I wanted. That immediately set off alarms for me—it felt rushed and dismissive. When I asked for clarification, her explanation changed to "you can be on a soft diet," and then that I could be discharged while on that soft diet. I want to share my experience because it has been so incredibly positive with Dr. Jenna Overly. I had a serious surgery in November 2022 with multiple complications. I then developed a significant inguinal hernia. Dr. Overly was the third surgeon I consulted with regarding this need for a second surgery. The first surgeon stated my surgery was too complicated for him to perform.
