In early 2018, I gave Jenkins, what for me, was a substantial amount to manage. When I ended the relationship two years later, the amount of growth was about equal to the charges and fees for their services. . The downside: My total profit over two years was less than $500. Even at the dismal CD rates paid during 2018-2020 the return on my investment would have been significant, without the management fees, and without the risk. The upside: They have nice offices, snazzy reports, and cookies. Lesson learned.
