During one of the most difficult times in our lives, this funeral home truly felt like an extension of our own family. From our very first meeting before the service, they guided us through the planning with immense patience, taking all the pressure off our shoulders. Everything was great, under the circumstances, until I opened my front door to my mother's remains. I did not expect that nor made aware that she was even ready for pickup. Had I known I would have drove 45 minutes to pick my mom up. That hurt my feelings. I felt it was very tasteless and insensitive and my mother deserved better. Its unfortunate because I can not take that back and im left feeling like I should have done more to make sure she was properly handled.
