Went to this Dr. to get help with weight loss. Put me on Ozempic. Concerned with recent studies which showed blindness with some on this med. First of all could not get in person appt and had to do online at time and they were very late for this online appt. Secondly when I voiced concerns and told her I didn't want to take med due to this new study, she still pushed this shot. Dr. Lawrence is amazing support in safely loosing weight. Yes, medicine has been part of the journey but she's guided me in looking at food a healthy way and creating coping skills to manage a realistic and healthy lifestyle. Of course loosing weight has it benefits- less pain from daily activity, blood pressure and A1C have improved and mental health. This is a Dr. appointment I look forward going to.
