While very knowledgeable, she has a tendency to decide what's happening in a situation and overrides any attempt to correct her assumptions. This skews her advice and dampens the therapeutic value. After looking past this for years, it finally became untenable. (I should have spoken up/left much sooner.) One star, do not recommend.
she is rude and so unprofessional
Took over a week to get a call back, gave an admin my information and never heard from them again, despite my telling them that I was practically in crisis. Unprofessional and borderline dangerous business practices. If you aren't accepting new patients, say so and let people find the help they need and are actively searching for. Trust the reviews.
After the birth of our first child, my wife was suffering from postpartum. She was depressed and suffering high levels of anxiety. I was at my wits end. Then we met Dr. McCutcheon. I would like to give 10 stars for all the help and guidance she provided. She is kind, listens carefully to what we have to say, and know her stuff. My wife and I are very happy now. And we are now having our second child. Highly recommend Dr. McCutcheon. She is a life saver.
As a former commander (retired), I have to thank Dr. McCutcheon for her professionalism and expertise in public safety evaluations. As one of the largest police agencies in AZ, I can attest to the level of knowledge and experience that Dr. McCutcheon possesses. I highly recommend Dr. McCutcheon.
I have to say that I do not like doctors but I will make an exception for Dr. McCutcheon. I have gone through some tough times due to my anxiety. I have seen many psychologist, counselors, and therapists. They all were not very helpful and borderline incompetent. Dr. McCutcheon was recommended by a friend who has been seeing the doctor for many years. I did some research and found out that Dr. McCutcheon is one of the few board certified psychologist in Phoenix and highly regarded in her field.
As someone who's gone throgh these exams, Dr. McCuthion is great. I get what she's looking for and why she asks the questions she does. I totally support her work. Anyone who disagrees is sour grapes;
The worst experience I've ever had as for Psyche Evaluation! First off she was late she was very unprofessional very crass. Of course I knew nothing and she knew everything. When I had a question her response was, "You don't ask the questions I do!" "structured interview sir"! If your a law enforcement agency save your money and stay away! There are many other Agencies much better than hers.I think the main issue is she should be evaluated herself and let real professionals to interview clients
If I could leave no stars I would. This woman is crass and belittling. She speaks down to patients and acts as if her degree means something besides the fact that she's written a lot of theoretical papers on what other people actually do. Stay away. Very unprofessional.
