The Doctor is great. The problem is when I made my appointment they gave me a questionnaire to fill out and then came an email to fill out and when I was in the office the first person checking my eyes asked the same questions. Why doesn’t the communication in the office allow them to see what I have filled out or do they keep the information in 3 different places and don’t allow access to the people in the office.
I have been seeing Dr Spiegel for a few years. I am very pleased with my care. I had macular edema in one eye, cause unknown... potentially in association with cataract surgery. The most conservative treatment was ineffective so Dr. Spiegel used the mainstay treatment, intravitreal injection. While the first treatment improved my condition for a relatively short while, a second intravitreal injection was necessary and I have only needed check ups in the last couple of years. After receiving a routine eye exam from the VA, I was referred to the Pacific Eye Clinic in San Luis Obispo, CA. After a thorough examination with Dr Spiegel, she immediately obtained authorization from the VA and performed a LASIK procedure. I was in and out in about an hour and a half. Thanks Dr. Spiegel and pass on my compliments to your entire staff.
