Recently we have had outages continually. we live in an all electric home. My fear is that these outages will keep happening as the weather starts getting colder. It seems that whatever the problem that is causing the outages should have been addressed already. When my husband worked for JMEC , outages were addressed immediately. It seems that service isn't something that is important anymore.
The issues with the electricity going off, staying off and flickering way to many times has been happening for years and seems to have gotten worse. Even when the weather is calm and quite, there will still be issues. No one answers at the main office. Our appliances and other equipment could burn out, will they pay for them to be replaced? Why are we still getting charged so much for a broken system? Why are we getting charged convience fees to pay our bill over the phone? Discounts to should be applied to our bills. Web site never works, outage call center doesn’t work, nobody picks up the line, you call the main office, it cuts you off. Auto draft doesn’t set up correctly, prices and fees rise periodically, and when work needs to be done it takes weeks to months to get service done. They continue to give poor customer service
